As a Financial Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert financial advice and analysis to refine the financial forecasting model and overall business model of the organisation. You will collaborate with key stakeholders, including executive leadership, finance teams, and department heads, to assess financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategic recommendations. Your in-depth financial expertise, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities will be essential in optimising the organisation’s financial planning and decision-making processes.


Key Responsibilities:


  1. Financial Forecasting and Modeling: Develop and refine financial forecasting models to project revenue, expenses, and cash flows. Analyse historical financial data and industry trends to create accurate and comprehensive financial projections for short-term and long-term planning.

  2. Business Model Analysis: Evaluate the organisation’s current business model and financial performance. Identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats to support strategic decision-making and business growth.

  3. Financial Analysis and Reporting: Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including profitability analysis, variance analysis, and sensitivity analysis. Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for executive leadership and stakeholders.

  4. Financial Strategy and Recommendations: Collaborate with executive leadership to formulate financial strategies and action plans to achieve business objectives. Provide recommendations to improve financial performance, optimise resource allocation, and enhance profitability.

  5. Risk Assessment: Identify potential financial risks and opportunities for risk mitigation. Provide insights on financial implications related to investments, market changes, and economic trends.

  6. Budgeting and Cost Management: Assist in budget development and cost management efforts. Monitor budgetary compliance and analyse deviations to ensure efficient resource allocation.

  7. Financial Planning and Decision Support: Support financial planning initiatives, including capital budgeting, investment analysis, and scenario planning. Provide decision support to senior management in evaluating potential business opportunities.

  8. Financial Communication: Effectively communicate complex financial concepts and analyses to non-financial stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive understanding of financial performance and objectives.

  9. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with financial best practices, accounting standards, and industry regulations. Implement improvements to financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

  10. Client Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. Understand their needs and provide tailored financial solutions and insights to support their specific goals.


  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, CFA) is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a financial consultant or financial analyst, preferably in a consulting or advisory role.
  • Strong financial modelling skills and proficiency in financial analysis tools and software.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial principles, accounting practices, and financial regulations.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw meaningful insights.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey financial insights to diverse audiences.
  • Collaborative and adaptable, with the ability to work well in cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented and able to maintain accuracy while managing multiple tasks.
  • High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
  • Experience in working with businesses in various industries is a plus.
